As a means to secure the learning environment for our students, Gateway Virtual Academy requires all students and parents to sign an agreement to the following:
1. Students and parents will keep all links and access to class and exams for the student who it is issued.
2. Students and Parents agree not to allow anyone to enter the classroom using the assigned student’s name under any
3. Students will not enter the classroom under another device to disturb or interrupt the lessons.
Gateway Virtual Academy will take every action necessary to identify students who are intruding into the classroom.
Students are asked to show integrity when coming in and out of the classroom and when participating in classroom activities. Any student who is found to be intruding into any classroom, including their own, for the purpose of interruption and/or disrespect, anonymously or openly, will have actions taken against them.
Any student found to have given access to their classroom to any outside student will be suspended. In some cases, students who violate any part of the classroom security policy may be expelled and will not receive their transcripts.
